Reviews take place within the same live audit file used for fieldwork. When risks or procedures change, related workpapers and documentation update automatically, helping issues surface earlier and reducing late-stage rework and review notes.

Caseware includes built-in analytics and intelligent assistance within the audit workflow. Teams can identify anomalies, review trends and access contextual guidance without leaving the audit file, supporting faster, more informed judgment.

Firms can import trial balances and supporting data from common sources and transition existing audits to Caseware using guided onboarding. This allows teams to adopt cloud-based workflows while maintaining continuity and minimizing disruption.

Caseware Lux FinTax has integrated reconciliations. If a note does not reconcile you can see this in the financial statement itself and also in the diagnostics. 

Caseware Lux FinTax has smart reviewer tools.You can compare version 1 with 2 or 3 and if needed switch back to a previous version.

Caseware Lux FinTax has a monitoring tool. You can easily see the progress of all engagements and if needed help your team if they are struggling with completion.

When someone has a question, they can create an issue directly within the relevant section. A junior team member can create the issue and tag the manager, who will automatically receive an email notification containing a direct link to the specific note. This allows the manager to quickly review the question, provide guidance, and resolve the issue efficiently.  

Collaboration is possible at multiple levels. The built-in portal allows teams to ask questions, request documents from clients, and send documents for approval.

External auditors can be granted free access to the financial statements in Caseware Lux FinTax to review and comment on the notes. Any comments or issues appear directly within the relevant explanatory notes, making them easy to review and correct.

Compliance is in our DNA. Preventive controls, detective diagnostics, and automated reconciliations are fully integrated to ensure accuracy and reliability. Deliverables are validated XML files for eCDF and MyGuichet, and PDF Type A for RCS.

Completed financial statements can be generated in Word, PDF, XBRL and XML formats depending the local requirements. The solution also supports region-specific XBRL tagging where applicable.
